Dr. Sheri Fastenrath grew up in Huntsville and began working at the hospital in 1982 in the kennel. Dr. Fastenrath returned in 1990 to the hospital as a veterinarian. She loved the hospital so much that in 1993 she purchased the practice.
Animal Medical Clinic is a full-service veterinary hospital with a brand new, state-of-the-art facility to serve all of your pet care needs. They offer comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care, as well as boarding and grooming. Their facility is equipped with digital xray and ultrasound.
Dr. Fastenrath is also a Certified Canine Rehabilitator, and offers rehabilitation therapy for pets. Available therapies include underwater treadmill, therapeutic ultrasound, neuromuscular electrical stimulation, low-level laser light therapy, therapeutic massage, and hot and cold compress therapy. Dr. Fastenrath welcomes referral cases for post-operative care, degenerative joint disease (arthritis), and many other orthopedic and neurologic cases.
